Hello,
a bit about me:
I am a game designer with a Bachelors of Fine Art (BFA) with 5+ years of experience in games, both PC and mobile. I majored in Game Development; my focus primarily resides in game design, especially design documentation and system design.
My love for video games began on the Nintendo 64 and Nintendo GameCube when I was a little girl. I would play Super Smash Bros. Melee and Mario Party 5 and 6 every summer with my cousins. As the years went on, we played on the next wave of consoles, then the wave after that, after that, and so on to the current wave. I adored the unique experiences we would have whenever we played anything, whether it be watching someone play solo or playing together.
Shigeru Miyamoto's philosophy for making video games is to make them fun for everyone. I hold this sentiment very dearly. My goal in life is to tell stories through video games, and have the players tell their own stories from their experiences in those games. We all tell stories, and I have many to tell.
I've worked with wonderful teams at Academy of Art in collaborative efforts for the last two years, working on Hemlock and the Horrible Net (a lite version is available on Google Play) and Sugar Sleuths. My last projects in AAU include Castle Blazers and A Musing Tale (working title).
I worked at Fogbank Entertainment as a Cinematic Technician for over 10 months. I worked on The X-Files Season 01 and Edge of Extinction. I am currently working at Jam City as an Associate Content Game Designer for Cookie Jam Blast.
I love to play all kinds of games, such as Legend of Zelda series, Baldur's Gate 3, Elden Ring, Dungeons and Dragons 5E, Lancer TTRPG, Gigabash, Warframe, Persona series, and so much more that would massively expand this list! I'm always looking for inspiration in the games I love and love to see what other developers are doing!
