Sugar Sleuth Notes: Journal Edition! I used this when I needed to write lengthy notes down. I'm a stickler for keeping long entries on lined paper because my formatting quickly tanks on blank paper. This journal is more in-depth compared the sketchbook; the journal has more tabs on everything while the sketchbook has more math for more pressing tasks at the given times.
Page ???: This is the journal I used! The golden anchor and slim build caught my eye. It wasn't meant for this project, actually; I really love buying journals and other stationary~ I do plan on filling them all up with something in the future.
Page 0a: This is a "final" map I drew on larger sketchbook paper. The layout of the cabins and lake were finalized at this point, but the circumference of the map, the player's velocity, and the player's turns were going to shrink not too long after this drawing. This was during the time I was trying to place the moon sprite in the appropriate spot.
Page 0b: This is a strip of paper with the nine areas (quickly) drawn on. I used this to help see how the background cabins would be laid out. I did have the paper map, but I thought having a 3D representation would help clear any confusion I might've had beforehand.
Page 0c: This is the aforementioned strip of paper folded so that Cabin 1 and the Lakeside (LS) were touching.
Page 0d: This is updated map, drawn on the back of the "final" map from November. I drew on the back of it so I could see the mirror of the first map. I turned the first map upside down so Cabin 4 could be viewed as the starting position. However, the placement of the cabins seemed off and I couldn't really place why my own map wasn't matching what was in Unity. After a winter break and a mirror drawing, I discovered why the map couldn't just be turned 90 degrees. This map correctly matches the Unity build.
Page 0e: This is a post-it note of the Sugar Sleuths wishlist items. It only lists idle animations for the characters. Sadly, we didn't have the time for it, but that's why it's a wishlist item!
