Sugar Sleuths: Sketchbook Pages 0 - 2

Updated: Oct 29, 2018

These are pages (one page is barely a page, haha) that were ripped from the main sketchbook and a different sketchbook. These contain early ideas and extra stuffs.

Page 0a: This was a cleaner version of the prototype map of the overworld. I needed to draw a larger circle to have room for some notes (not that there are many notes on this page). The locations of the cabins and buildings were altered almost immediately.

Page 0b: These are "cards" of a few of the characters and items. I don't exactly recall why I made them, but I had a fun time making them!

Page 1: This is the first note I made for this project. It was the first week of class, and I needed to jot down some ideas fast.

Page 2: This is the first overworld map I drew. I didn't plan to have the characters run around through this monstrosity in 3rd person; I was trying to emulate a campground map that had a lot of paths. Needless to say, that map design was scrapped relatively quickly.

Page ???: This is the sketchbook used for the entire project! To be honest, I want to maintain a consistent five-image gallery per post, and this was a good spot for this image. I really liked the paper, it was nice to write on~
